Ludwig C. Timm saw something unusual outside his bathroom window while working at his residence.
“At first, I only saw a few sticks on the window sill. “I thought the wind carried them there,” Timm said. “After some days, I realized it was not wind but the squirrels trying to build their small home there.”
Photographer extraordinaire Timm was ecstatic to be able to get up close and personal with some squirrels for some photos. At that point, he made the decision to capture images of the family of squirrels residing in their home on the window ledge for us to enjoy.
Timm uploaded photos he had taken of himself as a child and building the nest to his Facebook page.
Every day, he shared a photo of the squirrels to demonstrate their growth.
He had something really adorable. It depicted the squirrel family sleeping comfortably together.
I feel fortunate to have caught the mice in their slumber. They sleep in the nest most of the time. It was a hot day, though, so they slept outside.
This is quite a straightforward scene. But Timm found it fascinating to see it up close.
Timm said, “This is a really interesting coincidence in life.”
