China is a mischievous little burglar who has alienated her neighbours. This naughty cat prowls through her neighbourhood, stealing anything she can get her paws on. To date, China has been successful in stealing items like socks, aluminium wire, and even lighters. When this cat is nearby, you should never leave anything lying around.
China’s owner is Monica, who picked up the cat in 2013 when her friend found three kittens in her yard and needed someone to care for them. China was the runt’s lone female. Waffles, a male cat that Monica already owned, appeared to enjoy China, so Monica formally chose to retain her.
She started stealing when she was between two and three years old. She started off taking Monica’s housemate’s socks, and then she started stealing dog poop bags. She has such a strong personality, and Monica said that she will do almost anything to obtain what she wants. Every time, Monica has to perform a safety check to make sure nothing is within China’s reach.
A pack of cigarettes was discovered by Monica one day as she was walking out the door to go to work. She afterwards came across a box of matches. The woman thought that her housemate owned these, but she quickly found that China was robbing her neighbours. China even succeeded in stealing scissors and darts.
During the pandemic lockdown, China’s theft grew, and she began stealing three to four items per day. She would knock on Monica’s door while carrying something in her mouth as she called for her human. In an effort to film China bringing in her stolen goods, Monica then made the decision to place a camera close to her entryway. She even sent her pals some of these movies because she found them to be humorous.
Then, Monica made the decision to post these videos to her Instagram account, songsofmyfelines. The neighbour enjoyed the films and was relieved that it wasn’t a raccoon who was stealing from them, despite the human’s worries about her neighbour’s reaction to these robberies.
